JV Jackets fall in extra inning in season home opener

The Roanoke Rapids High School JV Baseball team opened their 2017 season off at home on Doyle Field under leadership of new head coach Aubrey Coker hosting Rocky Mount Monday night. The JV Jackets fell 8-6 to Rocky Mount in an extra inning. The JV Jackets tied the game up 6-6 in the bottom of the 7th and then Rocky Mount scored 2 runs in the top of the 8th and Roanoke Rapids couldn't answer.
