Naomi Cobb Harrell, 88, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Halifax County.  

Mrs. Harrell was born on June 5, 1935; the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Moore and Tilmin Cobb.  

She was also preceded in death by her husband Eddie Harrell.  She attended Smith Methodist Church.

Surviving include her daughter Linda H. Pearson (Clifton) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her son Randy Wilson Harrell (Diana) of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Mary Jordan of Garysburg, NC; her nephew Henry Jordan (Renee) of Garysburg, NC; her five grandchildren:  David Pearson, Andy Harrell, Ally Harrell, Andre Espaillatt, and Dustin Harrell; her great grandchildren:  Joshua Pearson, Nicholas Harrell, and Audrey Harrell; and her great great grandson Wyatt Pearson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Stan Lewis officiating.  

Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
