Water service has been restored to the areas of Allen and Mackie streets in Weldon. 

Halifax County Public Utilities will be transitioning to address another issue at County Road and Ransome Circle.

The break occurred during hydrant flow testing for the new Weldon High/Middle School.

Meanwhile, the county public utilities team rerouted and restored service to remaining customers in the southern portion of the county and the affected line will be fully repaired Tuesday.
