RRHS Spring sports try-out dates and locations

The Spring Sports season officially starts at Roanoke Rapids High School on Monday February 13.  Listed below is information about tryouts for each Spring Sport.

Baseball (Coach Mark Snead):  Tryouts will start on Monday Feb. 13.  They will be held at Doyle Field (at the TJ Davis Recreation Center).  9th and 10th graders will start at 4pm while 11th and 12th graders will start at 5:30pm

 

 

Softball (Coach Steve Milligan)  Tryouts will start on Monday Feb. 13.  They will be held at the high school softball field from 4pm-6pm.

 

 

Men's Tennis (Coach Michelle Pageau)  Tryouts will start on Monday Feb. 13.  They will be held at the tennis courts at the TJ Davis Recreation Center starting at 6pm.

 

 

Women's Soccer (Coach Craig Jean)  Tryouts will start on Monday Feb. 13.  They will be held at the soccer practice field located behind Belmont Elementary School starting at 4pm.

 

 

Men's Golf (Coach Tim Stark)  Tryouts will start on Monday Feb. 13.  They will be held at Chockoyotte Country Club starting at 4pm.  Players must wear a collard shirt and jeans are not allowed for practice.

 

 

Track and Field (Coach Brett Donmoyer)  1st practice will be Tuesday Feb. 21.  It will be held at the Manning Elementary School track field from 4pm-5pm.

 

 

All players who wish to tryout for any of the above teams must have a current physical on file, proper athletic paper work filled out, and be academically eligible in order to participate in RRHS Athletics.  If you would like in further information please contact the coach of the sport you are interested in.
