Poole has stella year on the hardwood

Halifax Academy eighth grader Emerson Poole recently completed her first year as Varsity Lady Viking on the basketball team, and what a Stella year it was.

Poole was not only the 2016-17 CIC conference "Player of the Year" and earn All-Conference team her eighth grade year, she was leading scorer. Emerson Poole scored 453 points in 26 games with 17.4 points per game average.

"A young player who has so much potential to be outstanding before she leaves here. I look forward to watching her develop in the years to come at Halifax Academy," stated Halifax Academy and CIC coach of the year Rick Ruffin.

Poole also was a Varsity Lady Viking on the 2016-17 Volleyball team and is entering her second year as a Varsity Lady Viking softball player.

Poole is the daughter of Ray and Amy Poole of Littleton.
