Jackets sting Eagles on diamond

The Chaloner Middle School baseball team beat Northeast Academy 19 to 2 on Friday thanks to a great pitcher performance by Bennett Liverman.

Liverman only gave up one hit and one walk while striking out 12 batters. Liverman pitched 5 innings, while Caleb Elias came in to pitch the last two innings. Caleb gave up 3 three hits and struck out 4 batters.

Grayson Hargrave led the offense for the Jackets by getting 5 hits including a double and 3 RBI's. A.J. Strickland had two hits including a triple and 3 RBI's. Colin Clements had two singles and 4 RBI's. Landen Birdsong also had a double and 2 RBI's. Caleb Elias and Bennett Liverman added hits.
