He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Scott; daughter, Nicole; step-son, Joshua Clark; mother, Betty Woofter; mother-in-law, Erika Montgomery; siblings, Twila Brown and husband, Blake, Eva Davenport, Alecia Dohnal and husband, Denny, Steve Woofter and wife, Monica, and Chris Woofter; and best friend of 42 years, Darrell Riegel and his family. He is pre-deceased by his father, Fred Woofter. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and extended family.

A Service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Basic United Methodist Church, 5th & Delphine, Waynesboro, at 2 p.m.Vic will always be remembered for his engaging personality and wonderful wit.
