Chris was an avid lover of animals, especially her dogs and horses.

This love was apparent where she worked and retired as a receptionist from the Lake Country Animal Hospital.

She also worked many years as a receptionist with the City of Roanoke Rapids.

Surviving are her daughter, Brigitte Hale and her husband, Kenny; sister, Juliana Morgan and her husband, Tom; brother, Hunter Traylor and his wife, Wanda.

She also leaves behind step daughters, Catherine Cardinale and her husband, Patrick, Susan Smith; step grandchildren Alex Hale, Maggie Blackman and her husband, Josh, Cooper Smith; nephew, Todd Morgan and his wife, Christy, nieces, Kelly Eller and her husband, Caleb, Brittany Clary and her husband, Chris; My sidekicks, “Shoney and Silas,” great nieces and nephews, Dean, Harper, Haley, Harlee, Easton, Seth, Eli, and Owen.

A Memorial service honoring the life of Chris will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 9, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Casteel and Rev Cory Oliver officiating.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 191 Lees Point Dr, Littleton, NC, following services.
