PD seeks assistance in two larcenies

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating two larceny cases in which the public’s help is needed.

Bicycle larceny

On Wednesday around midnight a person stole a 24-inch bike from underneath a carport of a residence in the 1000 block of Virginia Avenue.

Value of the bike is around $100.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Lieutenant Charles Vaught at 252-578-4049.

Beer larceny

On July 7,  two people stole beer valued at approximately $100 from Walmart.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Investigator Obert Wiltsie at 252-532-4509.

They may also call the police department at 252-533-2810 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444 on both cases.
