The Enfield Police Department has hired Willie Murphy Jr. to be its new detective sergeant, Chief Tyree Davis announced.
Lieutenant Neil Aycock will be promoted to major of the uniformed division of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Wes Tripp said this afternoon.
