RRHS 2018 commencement

The Roanoke Rapids High School Class of 2018 held its commencement service Friday night.

As school gets ready to come to a close, Allyson Harden will be busy continuing her effort to bring exceptional children to the forefront.

More than $2 million in scholarships were awarded Thursday to Roanoke Rapids High School seniors at the annual senior awards day celebration.

RRHS senior walk

The Roanoke Rapids High School Class of 2018 took their traditional walk Wednesday through the halls of their former middle and elementary schools.  

A Roanoke Rapids man was charged today after he was reportedly observed in a parking lot of the high school setting a small pile of trash on fire.

Roanoke Rapids High School students got their first taste of the election process through registering or casting their first ballots early for the upcoming primary Tuesday.

A familiar face has been tapped to lead the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District’s early college program.  

Roanoke Rapids High School Senior Alison Chau is the recipient of this year’s Ethel  Crawley Scholarship giving her a free undergraduate education to the college of her choice.
