Under 9 Allstars fall short, Warren hits homerun

The Roanoke Rapids Youth Basaeball Association Under 9 All-stars traveled to Swansboro earlier this week for the 2017 Cal-Ripken ENC State Tournament.

The Under 9 All-stars came up short in all three games, but were the only team to score against the West Raleigh team in pool play games.

The Roanoke Rapids U9 All-Star's first game against was against Lenoir County.  Roanoke Rapids lost in extra endings 8-7.

1st Game stats Leaders:

RJ Williams 2 hits

Blaine Warren 2 hits & 1 RBI

Trey Johnson 2 hits

Jake Parks 1 hit & 3 RBI's

Carter Harrell 1 hit & 2 RBI's

Sawyer Williams 1 hit & 1 RBI

Montreal Ham, Logan Peterson, Bryce Manning each hit 1 hit.

Blaine Warren 1-1 Homerun & 2 RBI's

Logan Peterson 1-1 and stole home for his own RBI
