A Roanoke Rapids man who already has pending charges in Halifax County is in more trouble after he was arrested for a residential breaking and entering in September.
Will Hawkins, who continues to recover from injuries sustained in March, has been named grand marshal of this year's Roanoke Rapids Christmas Parade.
The 16-year-old boy wanted in a morning murder in Weldon has been taken into custody.
An ongoing disagreement is apparently the motive in a Weldon shooting death this morning.
