Fourth SN heroin bust yields 700 bindles

The fourth heroin arrest of the year in Scotland Neck was made Thursday — $14,000 worth packaged in 14 bricks, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

The National Anthem will be sung by Kasey Tyndall at 1:30 pm on Saturday at Faith Christian School in Rocky Mount when Halifax Academy basketball team comes to town.
