Mrs. Hazel Jenkins Harrell, 90, of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

She was born in Halifax County to the late Bernie Frazier Jenkins and Lillie Garner Jenkins and was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Harrell Allen, her granddaughter, Christi Allen Hill and her sister, Mildred Jenkins Glover.

Mrs. Hazel is survived by her daughter, Jackie H. Smith and her husband, David of Concord, North Carolina; her son, James Allen Harrell, II and his wife, Sue of Williamston, North Carolina; and her brother, Billy Jenkins and his wife Edith of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Smith Methodist Church with Rev. Stan Lewis officiating.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until service time on Wednesday.
