Linda (Whitfield) Silfee, 72, of Westminster, MD, passed away on January 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family & friends.

Born in Roanoke Rapids, NC on October 24, 1951, she was the loving daughter of the late Wilmer and Wilma (Nicholson) Whitfield.

Linda was heavily involved in many parts of the Carroll County community for over 40 years. She was an active part of the Deer Park Recreation Council and worked over 19 years for Carroll County Recreation & Parks as a Program Coordinator.

In her spare time, Linda enjoyed playing a good game of pool, Rummikub, UNO, Gin Rummy, or Shanghai.

She especially enjoyed keeping up with all her friends and family on Facebook.  She enjoyed traveling with her family, domestically to favorites such as the Outer Banks and Lake Gaston, NC , and abroad to Europe (especially Paris), Ireland, England and Japan.
