Steven Wallace King, 82, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on April 18, 2024. 

Known as Steve to his family and friends, he was born October 19, 1941, the son of the late Jack D. King and Avis Odom King. 

Known to his children and grandchildren as Dad, Daddy, Boss, Granddaddy, and Grandaddy Boss, he was a beloved father, grandfather, and a great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, (Jack and Avis King) and his loving wife of 58 years, (Hazel Moore King). 

Steve is survived by his 3 sons, Mark King and spouse, Addie; Tim King and spouse, Tesha; Joe King and fiancée, Amanda Hutson; all of Roanoke Rapids, NC., his grandchildren, BoRay Cephus King; Jamie Santos and fiancée, Nikki Ferrel; Justin Santos and spouse, Kristine; Jeremy Kristi Santos (Kaye); Kristen King Revelle and spouse, Shane; Jacob King and spouse, Brionna; Paul King and fiancée, Jenni Tutor; his great-grandchildren, Ava Clements; Asa Revelle; and Annsleigh Revelle.

Per Daddy’s wishes, we will not be gathering at the funeral home nor have a viewing before the funeral. 

A graveside service will be held in Arcola, NC, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Dr. Dennis W. Gregory Officiating. Online condolences can be made towww.wrennfh.com
