The sheriff’s office responded to a residence on Severn Road in Margaretsville about a missing or runaway juvenile.

The mother of the juvenile noticed her son was missing around 9:30 p.m.

The sheriff’s office launched a search to locate the missing juvenile.

The 15-year-old juvenile was located the following day around 8 a.m. safe and sound, however, he got off the bus at 4 p.m. and ran away again.

The sheriff’s office and Seaboard Police Department began another search and the juvenile was located by Seaboard Chief George Reed.

Sheriff Jack Smith said he encourages all parents to notify law enforcement as soon as they realize their children are missing. “We ask that they be able to furnish a most recent photograph, clothing description, and list of friends or associates and telephone numbers and addresses. This would help in locating them.”
