Two brothers were arrested this morning on marijuana counts by the City County Drug Task Force.

Agent D.R. Radford said in a statement the raid resulting in the arrests of Roderick Rudd, 37, and Dedrick Rudd, 30, both of Enfield, was based on a two-week investigation.

The investigation at the residence on Glenview Road was based on citizen complaints and further investigation by Radford.

The search warrant stemming from the matter was served just after 9:45 a.m. and with assistance from the Hazardous Entry Arrest Team and Corporal P. Moyer of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office and his dog, Bosco.

The search resulted in the seizure of 59.3 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and plastic bags.

The brothers were charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance.

Roderick Rudd received a $10,000 bond and Dedrick Rudd received a $20,000 bond. Both have January 27 court dates.
