Detective Willie Murphy Jr. of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said Reginald O'Keith Nicholson II, 20, and Shalonda Rene Silver, 29, are both from Enfield, where the home invasion occurred, and tend to travel together.

Murphy obtained warrants on the couple Wednesday for conspiracy to break and enter; breaking and entering; larceny after breaking and entering; possession of stolen property and false imprisonment.

Murphy said investigation began after the sheriff's office received a report two people forced themselves into the residence, tied up the 59-year-old victim and left with several items.

It was reported Silver possibly lived at the residence previously but Murphy said he didn't believe that had anything to do with the home invasion.

The couple apparently frequent areas throughout the county as well as areas in Rocky Mount.

The investigation continues and others may be charged.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Murphy at 252-593-1003 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
