Enfield man sought in multiple vehicle break-ins

A man believed to reportedly be responsible for between 10 to 15 vehicle break-ins in the Enfield community is wanted by the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Velasquez

Major Scott Hall said a two-month investigation by Detective B.R. Nutt led to warrants against Michael Velasquez, 41, for felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

Hall said personal items were reportedly taken from the vehicles.

Velasquez is known to frequent the Enfield area and has ties to the Columbia area.
