Burgess
Antwone Joubert Burgess, 28, of Louisburg, is being sought for indecent liberties with a child.
The case started last October when the 8-year-old victim reported the assault to parents.
Felony warrants has been obtained on Burgess, who frequents the Hollister, Rocky Mount, and Louisburg areas.

Corbett
Larceny arrest
Andrew Christian Corbett, 23, of Roanoke Rapids, was charged and arrested around noon Monday for misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods, and attempting to obtain property by false pretense. The case started when the victim reported tires and an aluminum ladder were missing from her residence near Highway 158.
Further investigation by Murphy found Corbett allegedly attempted to sell the stolen tires.
Information gathered from the victim and witnesses aided in the arrest warrants.
Corbett was placed in the Halifax County Jail under a $500 bond and is scheduled for court on March 23
