I would like to start by saying thank you to the parents of my girls, because without you having faith in me as a coach none of this could be possible.

I would like to thank Stanley Allen and Kevin Vincent for stepping up and helping me with this team.

This weekend’s fundraiser was a great success. I would like to thank the guys from Lake Country Corn Hole, Lonnie Harris, Tim Harris, Bob Jones and Jason McAllister.

These gentlemen stepped up and helped our team out like no one could ever imagine, they with the help of our parents organized the fundraiser and they ran a great tournament.

The sponsors that stepped up and helped them out made a big difference also.

I would also like to thank Ellen Heaton for allowing us to have our fundraiser at the Becker Village Mall; she never batted an eye when we went to her seeking a location for our event.

It takes a lot of effort to organize these events but everyone stood together and did their part.

I would advise anyone that is looking for help on a fundraiser that you contact Lake Country Corn Hole because they are truly great people. Everyone that came out this weekend and supported our case we thank you, and we appreciate this from the bottom of our heats.

Our goal is to raise enough money to make a trip to the World Series in Myrtle Beach, S.C., next August and this has put us closer to our goals.

The support we received Saturday shows that the Roanoke Valley is a great place to live and raise your family.
