Despite no speakers, City Manager Joseph Scherer said following the meeting he still welcomes public input on the financial plan.

The lack of speakers did not bother him. “I would hope the citizens understand we are a good steward of its funds.”

Scherer said he continues to work with department heads at looking at changes proposed during last week’s city council work session.
