Halifax Acaademy softball beats Faith Christian 8-0 to advance to the next round of State play-offs. Hannah Clary earned the win on the mound with four strike outs.

At the plate Lindsey Pilley had three singles, Tori Ladendorf a single with 1 RBI, Jamir Harris had a double, Emily Conner also had a double with 1 RBI, Drew Rose had a single and a double with one RBI, Candice Smith had a double with 2 RBI's, Haley Wood had a single and a double with 1 RBI, and  Ryan Hilliard had two singles and 1 RBI.

Halifax Academy plays Friday at 12:30pm  at Peace College.
