Roanoke Rapids High soccer team hosted Northwood lady Chargers Wednesday night on Hoyle Field.  Kayla Miller drew a penanlty kick with 30:48 on the clock in the second half. Veronica Edmonds kicked the penalty kick and went wide right of the goal missing. Less than a minute later with 30:07 on the clock Chloe Wilson scored a goal, putting Roanoke Rapids up 1-0.

Veronica Edmonds sealed the deal with 3:25 remaining in the match giving Roanoke Rapids the 2-0 win to avance to Host Saturday night against winner of Carrboro vs First Flight.
