Handsprings for Hope was a huge success this past Saturday at the ROCK, home of Valley Cheer! They raised $4142.35, Jessica's goal was to raise $1000 so this was HUGE!!! The participation was fabulous! Cheerleaders from all gyms and all ages united together for this great cause! One cheerleader, Rheann Lane did the most back handsprings of the day - over 300, and Natalie McElhaney did 100 back handsprings in 30 minutes and raised the most money - $600. It was an awesome event!! All money is going to the Will Hawkins fund which is set up at First Citizen's Bank.
Ultimate Cheer showed their support Saturday, May 18, at the Backhandspring-a-thon for Hope organized by Jessica Neville. This was an excellent opportunity for the community to come together and help raise money for little Will and his recovery.
