Yellow Jackets soccer come up short on Eastern Title

Roanoke Rapids High Girls Soccer overplayed the second half.

Roanoke Rapids soccer lost a hearbreaker at Hoyle field Tuesday night. In the Eastern Regional final game, that was pushed back one hour due to the large amount of rain in the afternoon,  The Yellow Jackets lost 4-0 to Swansboro.

Still not a bad season for first time head coach Craig Jean and the entire yellow jacket team for making it to the final four in the 2A NCHSAA state play-offs for the first time in Roanoke Rapids history.

The shirt says it all, these girls never quit.

 

Ariel Potter was the name announced all night long as she had many saves at the goal as Roanoke Rapids Goalie.
