The Roanoke Valley Girls U12 team had Friday nights game moved to Saturday morning due to rain, well Saturday mornings game turned into Saturday afternoon game. After about 3-4 hou delay to get the fields ready after a morning rain. Roanoke Valley game strong, beating Currituck 19-5 in five innings.

Sydney Smith was on the mound for the first inning with two strike outs, Ashley Ivey pitched three innings with one strike out and Meagan Colston came in to close the game.

At the plate Meagan Colston and Madison Glover each had a single, Elena Miller, Morgan Davis and Madison Suiter each had two singles, Sydney Connell and Ashley Ivey each had a double and Camden Bierbauer had two doubles. The U12 advance in the loser bracket and play later on today (Saturday).
