Rain suspended U15 baseball game Thursday

RV U15's had a 4-0 lead befor the rains

The Roanoke Valley U15 baseball All-stars had a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning in Hertford Thursday afternoon. Then the rain came and suspended the game until today at noon.

RV is home team and Nick Horvath pitched strike-outs on the first three batters for Currituck.

RV was at bat with one out when the game was postponed. Logan Jackson had walked, then Holton Barnes was thrown out at first, Caleb Pratt was hit by a pitch, Nick Horvath was walked, Jackson stole home on a pass ball for 1st run, then Marcus Allen hit a home run to score the other three runs. Josh Elias hit a single and was on first base when game suspended.

Weather permitting, game time Noon today in Hertford in the District 7 U15 baseball All-star tournament
