Chance Carter of Goldsboro is now the newest addition here at Valley Cheer

 

His currently a Junior at East Carolina University, where he is working toward obtaining a degree in Elementary Education. Chance is a member of East Carolina University Greek Life, doing so by representing Alpha Phi Omega as one of their fraternity brothers. With Chance being highly involved on campus as well as in the classroom, he also served as an active member on two of the East Carolina University Cheerleading Team's. Those being Large Coed and the Small Coed Competition Team. Chance has done this for two convective years now. He competes with the Small Coed team which represents East Carolina University in the 1A Small Coed Division at the NCA Collegiate Cheerleading Nationals Competition located yearly in Daytona Beach, Florida. Prior to his current years of cheering at East Carolina University,Chance cheered on his high school varsity cheerleading team all throughout high school, while doing so he had the honor of being varsity team captain his junior and senior year. Also, Chances' senior year he was named MVP of his high school team and was chosen to represent Wayne County as their 2011 Varsity Cheerleader of the Year. While cheering in high school Chance had to juggle high school cheerleading along with competitive cheerleading; Cheering for ECCATS of Greenville, Goldsboro Elite of Goldsboro, and for both Cheer Extreme Raleigh as well as Cheer Extreme Greenville. Cheering competitively Chance and his teammates won numerous regional, state, and national titles from all over the east coast. While still competing competitively throughout high school, Chance had the honor to compete his senior year at the 2011 Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida representing Cheer Extreme Raleigh in the Small Limited Coed Level 5 division. Him and his team proudly placed thirteenth out of ninety-three teams that had came from around the world.
