Hobgood JV football team earns first win of the season on a hard day for both JV and Varsity as a team. Hobgood beat Community 56-40. Varsity player Jimmy Andrus (#21) underwent shoulder surgery today and reports say he is recovering well, while player Carson Smith (#88) started the fight of his life at Duke starting procedures to undergo Chemo treatment. A facebook page has been set up for updates for Smith (We Support #88).

St. Daivid's Academy was willing to change this Friday night's game and travel to Hobgood's home field for the 7:00 pm kickoff. The field has been lined and a big #88 has been painted center field supporting Smith. With help from TD Sports in Rich Square you will see lots of #88 shirts Friday night supporting "EVERY SNAP" for Smith.
