Halifax Academy varsity volleyball played a non conference rescheduled match today at home against #2 seed Oakwood. The match was scheduled early in the season but due to no bleachers it had to be rescheduled. Both coaches agreed to play in between the NCISAA 1A State tournament and the match would be practice for both.

Halifax is #9 seed and advanced Tuesday afternoon to face #1 seed Freedom Christian Academy Friday morning at 9:00 am at Word of God.

Halifax won three straight sets;

Set one  :  26 - 24  Halifax

Set two  :  25 - 20  Halifax

Set three:  25 - 18  Halifax
