"First of all I am very happy with how both teams performed at the Regional Meet. For seven of our nine runners to set season and/or personal best times at the meet says a lot about the hard work and determination these young men and women have displayed this season.  Secondly, I am extremely excited about Shyann qualifying for the State Meet.  To make the State Meet is a wonderful honor and we are very happy she has earned this spot to compete against the best in the state," said Roanoke Rapids first year Cross Country coach Mark Snead.

The State Meet is on Saturday November 2nd at Redmond Park in Kernersville, NC.
