The Halifax-Northampton Midget football league Varsity #1 seed Garysburg Bull Dawgs hosted the #4 seed GCP Tuesday night in Gaston.

GCP scored first with a touchdown by Tese Gorham. Money Lee added the 2 point conversion.

Garysburg scored next on a great run from their running back just before halftime with a missed 2 point conversion and score was 8-6 at half.

GCP scored in third quartert on a QB sneak by Money lee. Tese Gorham converted the clutch 2 point conversion.

GCP Defense was on point with Garysburg never crossed midfield except for the touchdown run. Leading the PRIDE defense wer the "J" boys..Jyson Riddick and Jesse Butler.

The Superbowl is scheduled for Saturday November 2 against the Roanoke Rapids Hornets at Noon at Roanoke Rapids High Hoyle field.
