KIPP Girls hand RRHS opening season loss

Roanoke Rapids handed loss at home

KIPP Varsity girls came to Roanoke Rapids "Hive" and owned the court. The KIPP Panthers beat the Yellow Jackets 46-28. 

KIPP leading scorers were Kayela Buffaloe with 16 points, Niambi Wilkins and Destiny Nedsmith with 8 points each.

Roanoke Rapids leading were Dee Dee Jones with 10 points, Haley Farrow with 8 points and Brooke Vincent 4 points. Roanoke Rapids was on the line for 32 free throws and only made 13 of those.
