Missing Wilson County boy possibly spied at Southeast

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office received a report that a 16-year-old Wilson County boy missing under a Silver Alert may have been seen at Southeast Halifax High School around 8 this morning.


Lieutenant Joseph Sealey confirmed the teen, Travez Watson, does have family in Halifax County.

He was reported missing at 12:11 p.m. Monday.

He stands 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, commonly called a hoodie, and was also wearing a plaid coat and carrying a brown bag.

The boy has a history of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and schizophrenia.
