There is an optional teacher workday with a 2-hour delay.
The make-up plan for the four missed school days is as follows:

Monday, April 21
All of these days will operate on an early release schedule.
Please note the beginning and ending times at each campus will vary due to bus schedules.
Early-Release Schedule
7:30 a.m to 11 a.m. – Chaloner Middle School
8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Belmont & Manning Elementary
8:30 a.m. to 12 noon – Roanoke Rapids High School
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Clara Hearne Pre-K Center
Other closings and delays are as follows:
Cornerstone Christian is delayed until 11 a.m.
Gaston College Prep is closed.
Halifax Academy is closed.
Halifax County Schools are closed.
Haliwa-Saponi Tribal School is closed.
Northeast Academy is closed.
Northampton courts delayed until 1 p.m.
Northampton County Schools are closed.
Northampton Government offices delayed until 1 p.m.
Weldon City Schools closed.
