Halifax and Hobgood varsity girls are conference champs

Halifax EPIC and Hobgood TIC Champions

 

Halifax Academy varsity girls beat Cary Christian Saturday 61-48 winning the EPIC (Eastern Plains Independent Conference) championship.

 

Leading scorers for Halifax were Kelly Williams with 34 points, Hayley Wood with 14, Lindsey Pulley with 8 points and Anna Glover with 5 points.

Hobgood Academy varsity girls beat Ridgecroft winning the TIC (Tarheel Independent Conference) Championship.

 

Hobgood JV boys and varsity boys lost in championship games.
