Weldon BOE to have contested November race

There will be a contested race for the Weldon City Schools of Board of Education on the November 4 ballot as four challengers vie for the incumbent seats of Tanya Byrd-Robinson, Pattie Cotton and Timothy Green.

Those challengers are Chester Alston Jr., Tiffany Hale, Edith E. Jenkins and James “Tank” Williams.
