The vehicle was stolen after its keys were found in another vehicle that was broken into, according to Roanoke Rapids police.
The crimes occurred in the 1100 and 1300 blocks of the avenue.
Captain Andy Jackson said as the weather warms there is more foot traffic. “With that comes more crime. Don't leave valuables in your automobiles such as guns, GPS units, checkbooks and pocketbooks.”
