Roanoke Rapids High Sophomore Lady Jackets softball players Hunter Martin and Jordan Carpenter tried out and have been selected to the Region 3 2014 Powerade State Games team. The tournament will be made up of 8 teams.

These two girls will be in the underclassman tournament with four games in round-robin competition before advancing to the medal games to determine Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The game will be played in Charlotte Monday, June 16th - Thursday, June 19th
