The Bishops beat the Elders 9 to 6 in minor league play Wednesday night.

AJ Strickland, Cole Eure and Hunter Martin had doubles for the Bishops.

AJ Strickland closed out the game pitching. Also pitching for the bishops was Jake Merritt, Ben Schmaltz and Cole Eure.

With three games left in the season the Bishops are a half game out of first place behind the Deacons.
