The Roanoke Rapids High baseball player and 2013 Graduate Clay Lockamon is not taking the summer off from baseball.

The UNC W Freshman was red shirted this season and is playing baseball in the Coastal Plains League for the Virginia Martinsville Mustangs. He has already seen 10 innings as a middle relief giving up only 2 earned runs and striking out 7 batters from the mound with a ERA of 1.80.

Lockamon's Mustangs will be playing in Fayetville Thursday night and then in Wilson Friday night. Later on in the season they will be in Petersburg Va.
