2008 and 2012 District 7 champions have signs.

Thanks to Roanoke Rapids resident Robbie Allen and local businessman Bill White of White Motor's the 2008 (Under 10) and 2012 (Under 15) District 7 Babe Ruth champion teams each has a sign to honor them and their win.

Robbie Allen came up with idea of honoring the players and coaches and Kevin Lynch of Lynch's Signs & Graphics made the metal signs listing each player and coach. Thanks to Bill White and White Chevrolet the signs were paid for. Allen was given permission from Roanoke Rapids Parks & Recreations Director John Siemon to  mount the signs at the Doyle Field baseball field.
