Captain Chuck Hasty of the Northampton County Sheriff's Office said further investigation into the case by Investigator Courtney Williams revealed a gun found in the search following the stop came back as stolen.
Fatar Weems of Snow Hill was given a $66,000 bond on that charge.
Weems, 21, was initially charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana; felony possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon.
