The RV Power 04 Under 10 Roanoke Rapids based travel girls softball team traveled to Wendell this past

weekend for the NC USSSA "Fall Smackdown".

In Saturdays pool play games RV Power 04 won the first over Eastover Elite 14-4 and fell to Wendell

Choas in second game.

Saturday afternoon the girls played the first bracket game taking it to the 6th inning but falling 3-4 to

the Predators. Leading RV Power 04 from the mound we're Ashlyn Cooke, Logan Storey, and Susannah

Odom all pitching 1 innings each in each pool play game and Ashlyn Cooke pitching all 6 innings of bracket game.

The RV Power 04 team returned to the field Sunday with eyes on the championship trophy. Winning

three games in a row facing a tie breaker game. RV Power 04 beat Eastover Elite 19-2, Wendell

Choas and the Predators 9-6 and had to face the Predators in the Championship game.

The RV Power 04 earned the win 4-3 earning the Championship trophy. "The whole team worked hard

and played well together this weekend," stated coach Jen Ott. "the girls hit the ball good all weekend,

our over 60 runs didn not come from walks," Ott added.

Ashlyn Cooke pitched 1 and half games while Logan Storey pitched two games.

In Sunday's four games alone the on base percentage was Morgan Hudemint 9-12, Berkley Garner 8-12,

Logan Storey 5-11, Ashlyn Cooke 5-10, Lauren Garner 6-9, Brooke Ott and Alana Mitchell 5-8 each, Ella

Howell 4-7 and Susanna Odom 5-7.
