Detroit man wanted for Halifax larceny

A man who travels between Detroit and Weldon is wanted in Halifax County for larceny.

Chief Deputy Bruce Temple said in a statement Renaldo Carlos Gomez, 47, is wanted for felony larceny and possession of stolen property on warrants taken out by Halifax County Sheriff's Office Deputy Chris Boden.

While Gomez has a Detroit address, he frequents the Weldon area.

Anyone with knowledge of his current whereabouts is encouraged to call the sheriff's office at 252-583-1991 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
