Halifax Academy's Cross Country team attended it's conference meet in New Bern Friday.
Both boys and girls team each finished 4th.
Four Halifax Academy's runners Kate Starnes, Jackson Harris, Whitney George and Holt Gordon earned
All Conference honors.
Jackson Harris finished 3rd over all in the boys event while Holt Gordon finished in 10th. Whitney George
finished 6th overall in the girls event while Kate Starnes finished 10th. “We had a strong team effort,” said
head coach Starnes.
Rounding out our scoring were Abby George, Maddie Suiter, Laura Brady, Shay Edwards, Mary Brady,
Hannah Little, Carmen Lyles, Thomas Garrett, Jacob Harris, Ted Fleming,& Cooper Davis.
