The Halifax Academy Cross Country Girls finished 3rd 
in the 1A State meet in Hendersonville, NC Friday. 

The Halifax Academy Cross Country Boys finished 6th 
in the 1A State meet as well in Hendersonville. 

The Vikings Girls were led by by Whitney George, Kate 
Starnes, Abby George, Maddie Suiter, and Laura Brady. 

The Viking Boys were led by Jackson Harris, Thomas 
Garrett, Holt Gordon, and Jacob Harris. 

Three runners received All-State honors for their top ten 
finish: Jackson Harris, Whitney George, and Kate Starnes.
